Position Description:

The Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management will lead the broader portfolio management team which oversees the investor relations, venture formation, client services, and capital raising functions at the firm.

In this capacity the VP/SVP will be responsible for leading the PM team on a day-to-day basis and working with existing partners, new partners, and other key industry participants (such as consultants and advisors) across a broad array of activities including capital raising/venture formation, diligence materials, periodic updates/meetings and general relationship management.  Other responsibilities include oversight of CRM tools, conference and industry event organization management, and market/property tours.  The position will be supported by strong project management, investor relations, and financial services teams and will work alongside the EVP Portfolio Management and CEO/President as a primary capital raiser for the firm’s investment products.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal savvy that is supported by a solid technical understanding of the apartment sector and excellent written and oral communication skills.  As a leader, this person will manage existing relationships as well as establish targets for new relationships, carefully crafting the messaging and customizing an approach for potential investors.

  • Deep experience with portfolio management and capital raising in a leadership capacity

 EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field and significant relevant real estate experience
  • Strong working knowledge of multi-family investment and/or institutional capital raising
